Katie Bradley, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a doctoral student in clinical psychology who is deeply committed to helping individuals overcome life's obstacles and achieve greater fulfillment and well-being. With over 11 years of experience and training, I bring a great deal of knowledge and skill to my practice.
Through my work I have developed a strong foundation in psychotherapy and assessment techniques, using an integrative approach that draws on psychodynamic, systems, and cognitive-behavioral modalities. I have worked with individuals of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and families, in a variety of settings, including residential substance use treatment, college counseling centers, private practice, and a community-based training clinic.
Clinical issues that I have substantial experience with include anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, gender and sexual identity development, LGBTQ+ needs, relationship problems, and sport-related issues such as performance anxiety and injury. I use a person-centered, integrative approach to psychotherapy, working collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and concerns.
As a former Division I athlete, I have a special interest in working with athletes of all ages to help them navigate the challenges they face both on and off the playing field. I understand firsthand the unique pressures and demands placed on athletes, and I’m passionate about helping them develop the skills and resilience they need to succeed.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, listening to music, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Through a warm and empathetic approach, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
