I am Dr. Sarah Wodder, and I welcome you as you are.  My goal is to provide a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space to support and empower you to overcome life’s challenges.  Together we can transform the way you cope with obstacles and stressors and learn new ways of managing painful thoughts and feelings.  My role is to help you build a stronger connection with yourself and others, and to develop a sense of fulfillment, connection, and belonging.

I am a Licensed Psychologist as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults and specialize in helping with difficult life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, legal involvement, and general stressors.  I have worked in a variety of settings since 2009 including community mental health clinics, residential treatment facilities, and an outpatient group practice specializing in forensic psychology.  I am experienced in helping families and couples to navigate challenging dynamics and relationship challenges.

I am formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but find an eclectic approach to therapy to be the most helpful.  I believe in the importance of overall wellness and taking an individualized approach to your care based on your personality, preferences, and needs.  I enjoy mindfulness and humor and invite you to seek a safe space to explore, express, and seek clarity with me.  I look forward to connecting with you and beginning your journey to personal growth.
