COVID Policy

The risks of infection from COVID varies depending on many factors. Below is our current policy, as of August 2021. This will be updated as conditions change. We appreciate your ongoing understanding and cooperation!

Everyone in our office (staff, patients, anyone who accompanies a patient – everyone) must wear a mask that fully covers the openings of the nose and mouth in all common areas regardless of vaccination status. Common areas include all areas outside of your treatment room (testing room or therapist’s office) such as the waiting room and hallways.

Under mutual agreement with your clinician, you may remove your mask when alone with your clinician in the treatment room only if:

1.     Everyone in the room is fully vaccinated. AND

2.     No one in the room has any symptoms of illness (COVID or otherwise – cough, fever, sore throat, etc.). AND

3.     No one in the room has recently tested positive for COVID or been exposed to someone with an active COVID infection, even if you are not having symptoms. AND

4.     You maintain social distancing and refrain from our usual greetings that involve touching such as shaking hands.

As usual, we ask that you NOT come to our offices if you or anyone with you is ill – COVID or otherwise. We continue to provide telehealth services to those who wish. However, be advised that some insurance carriers might discontinue reimbursing you for these expenses once the waivers enacted with the State of Emergency expire.

We ask that you not stop at the front desk to make payments or follow-up appointments. Please do this once you have left the office, either via email or phone. We routinely keep a credit card on file and can charge it after each session. If you are paying by cash or check, you can drop that at the front desk and a receipt will be sent to you.
