Dr. Christina Carson-Sacco

Dr. Carson-Sacco is a licensed psychologist who earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Family and Couples Therapy. Since 1989, Dr. Carson-Sacco has worked in a variety of settings, including Crisis Centers, Outpatient Mental Health Clinics, Inpatient Hospital Facilities, Partial Hospitalization Programs, Schools, Outpatient Group Practices, Children’s Guidance Facilities, and Private Practice.
Currently, she works as an individual, couples, group, and family therapist for children, adolescents and adults, as well as an educational and legal consultant. Some areas of treatment specialty include anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant behavior, school struggles, adolescent identity, parenting, couples conflict, and stress management.
Dr. Carson-Sacco was appointed by the governor to the Pennsylvania Sex Offender Assessment Board, on which she served from 2002 to 2010. She has served on the Advisory Council of Family Friends, an organization that serves special needs children and their families. In addition, she was the guest lecturer at their national conference. Dr. Carson-Sacco is a school representative to the Special Education Advisory Council. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association. In 2009, Dr. Carson-Sacco was appointed to the Board of Foundations Community Partnership, a non-profit foundation formed to support the behavioral health and human service needs of children and young adults in Bucks County.
As a consultant, Dr. Carson-Sacco is involved in forensic cases and assists with educational programming for children. She has substantial experience teaching, lecturing and researching in a variety of areas. Her background includes psychological and educational testing experience.
Dr. Carson-Sacco is available to provide lectures and training workshops on various topics including, but not limited to: Healthy Relationships, Suicide, Parenting Preschoolers, Bipolar Disorder in Children and Adolescents, Divorced and Blended Families, Transitioning to Middle School/High School/ and College, Connecting with Children Through Play, Racial/Ethnic Diversity Issues, Being a Great Communicator, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Eating Disorders, Mental Health and Motherhood, Stress Management, Anxiety Disorders, and Children’s Mental Health.
